Ida Pingala Shushumna Nadi

The Intricacies of the Human Nervous System

The human body contains a complex network of many nerves that serve as the communication system for the entire body.

The nervous system is responsible for controlling and coordinating all bodily functions, from breathing and heart rate to movement and sensation.

The network of nerves is made up of two main parts: the central nervous system, consisting of the brain and spinal cord, and the peripheral nervous system, which includes all the nerves outside of the central nervous system.

The peripheral nervous system contains both sensory nerves, which transmit information from the body to the brain, and motor nerves, which control movement and muscle function.

Overall, the network of nerves in the human body is a remarkable and intricate system that allows us to perceive and interact with the world around us.

Until there is complete knowledge of the elements, we remain trapped in the false web of names etc. under the influence of ignorance.

Swarodaya Shastra is the best among all the best scriptures which illuminates our soul-like house like the light of a lamp.

The purpose of this supreme knowledge is not only to get answers to the questions related to the material world or other achievements. Rather, for self-realization, this knowledge should be learned by oneself and practiced sincerely.

A swargyani (one who is well versed on breath control) does not need to consider auspicious date, Nakshatra, day, planetary deity, Bhadra, Vyatipat and Yoga (validity etc.) etc. from astrological point of view to start any work. That is, the work can be started at any time during the rise of the tone and element favorable to the work.

O Goddess, if a person becomes an atheist due to misfortune, he becomes pure again after attaining self-realization and he also gets auspicious results.

There is a network of many nerves in the human body. Intelligent people must know about these to know their body well. A nerve is a bundle of fibers that receives and sends messages between the body and the brain. The messages are sent by chemical and electrical changes in the cells, technically called neurons, that make up the nerves. So, how many of these nerves are in your body? While no one knows exactly, it’s safe to say humans have hundreds of nerves — and billions of neurons! — from the top of our head to the tips of our toes. Our  nervous system has two divisions:

  • Central nervous system (CNS): The CNS is the body’s command center and is made up of your brain and spinal cord. The brain is protected within your skull while your vertebrae protect your spinal cord.
  • Peripheral nervous system (PNS): The PNS is made up of nerves that branch off from your CNS. Nerves are bundles of axons that work together to transmit signals.

When nerves are damaged or aren’t signaling properly, a neurological disorder can result. There are a wide variety of neurological disorders and they have many different causes.

Thro’ the yogic practices and various breathing exercises we can cure all NADI related diseases. Less oxygen supply is the root of all diseases.

In the body, the navel has emerged from the center upwards like a sprout and is spread systematically throughout the body.

Kundalini Shakti

The serpentine Kundalini Shakti resides in these nadis while sleeping. From there ten nadis have gone upwards and ten downwards.

Two-two pulses have been skewed on both sides of the body. In this way ten upper, ten lower and four oblique nadis of the body are twenty four in number. But among them ten nadis are main through which ten pranas continuously flow in our body.

These nadis coming out from opposite angles above and below form the shape of a chakra where they meet in the body. But they are controlled by life force only.

Out of these twenty-four nadis, ten are the best and among them also three are the best –

Ida, Pingala and Sushumna.

Apart from the above three nadis, there are seven nadis – Gandhari, Hastijhva, Pusha, Yashaswini, Alambusha, Kuhu and Shankhini.

In this issue, details of the location of the pulses and the names of the pranas are being given:

Vame Bhage Ida Stitha, Dakshine (Bhage) Pingala Smrita, Madhyadeshe Tu Sushumna Vam Chakshushi Gandhari.

Dakshine (eyes) Hastijhva, Dakshine Karne Pusha,

Vam karne yashaswini aane ch alambusha.

Lingadeshe tu kuhu: Mulasthane tu ch Shankini.

The above four verses are being taken together for the sake of convenience. Ida nadi in the left part of the body, Pingala in the right part, Sushumna in the middle part, Gandhari in the left eye, Hastijihva in the right eye, Pusha in the right ear, Yashaswini in the left ear, Alambusha in the mouth, Kuhu in the genitals and Shankhini nadi in the anus. situated at. In this way, the ten nadis are located at the entrance of the said organs of the body i.e. where these organs open.

Ida, Pingala and Sushumna these three nadis are located in the path of life. In this way ten nadis are located in the above organs in the middle part of the body.

O Shiva, after the nadis, I will now tell you about the airs (pranas) related to them. Their number is also ten. In ten, five are the main pranas and five are subsidiary pranas. There are five main airs (prana) – Prana, Apana, Samana, Udana and Vyana. The helpful prana vayus are – Nag, Kurma, Krikal (Krikar), Devadatta and Dhananjay. The condition of the main five pranas is as follows.

Prana Vayu Status

vital heart

excretory organ

common navel

udan kantha (throat)

whole body

The following are the functions of the five helpful Prana-Vayu:

auxiliary vital activity

snake belch

blink of an eye

croaking sneeze

devdutt yawning

Dhananjay it pervades the whole body, even after death it remains in the body for some time.

In this way, these ten Prana Vayus keep on traveling in the form of living beings in the body through ten nadis, that is, they remain active.

There is no need to explain these verses. That's why they are not being given here. (42-47)

With the help of Ida, Pingala and Sushumna three channels, the communication of prana should be made visible in the middle part of the body. Here the two meanings of the middle of the body emerge - the first is the navel and the second is the spine.

Ida Nadi is located on the left and Pingala is on the right. That's why Ida is called the left region and Pingala is called the right  region.

Moon is located in Ida Nadi and Sun in Pingala Nadi and Sushumna itself is Shiva-Swaroop. That form of Lord Shiva is called swan, that is, where Shiva and Shakti become one and the breath is blocked. Because-

Tantra Shastra and Yoga Shastra believe that when our breath comes out, the

sound of “Hum” comes out and when the breath goes in, “Sah (So)”. Ha is

considered as Shiva-form and Sah or Soko is Shakti-form.

Ending today with "So-Ham" or "Ham-Sho"
