Breathing Exercise as Taught by Mahadev.

I am making this small attempt to explain about the Shiv Swarodaya Vigyan based on the dialogue between Shiva and Parvati. As you all know Shiva is the greatest Yogi of all. I start by saluting Maheswar Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati, Sri Ganesha and my revered Gurus whom I always remember at every step of my breathing in and breathing out.

Mother Parvati said to Lord Shiva that Hey Devadhidev Mahadev, my Lord could you kindly grant me the knowledge that bestows all siddhis.

O Deva, please tell me how this universe originated, how it changes, otherwise how it dissolves, that is, how it is annihilated and what is the root cause of the universe?

God said - O Goddess, this universe is created from the element, changes from the element, merges into the element and the universe is decided by the element itself, that is, the element is the root cause of the universe. (Thus the eternal order of creation continues)

Hey, God! Elements are the root cause of what type (creation, condition, destruction and their decisions)? What form has been told by the elementalists? What is that element?

Oh Goddess, the unborn and formless God is the only

God Maheshwar, he is the root cause of this world.

From that god first this sky was born and from the sky

air was born.

The universe is generated from those five Mahabhutas, gets transformed through them and merges in them and the order of creation goes on continuously. The five elements are Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Sky.

Hey beauty, in our body made of these five elements, these five elements remain active in a subtle way, due to which our body keeps on changing. Its complete knowledge is available only to the Tatvdarshi Yogis. Here Tatvayogi means the yogis who experience the light of the secrets of the elements by worshiping the elements.

Lord Shiva then explains to Shakti about the voice or swara rising in the body day in and day out. This swara is in the form of “hans”, that is, when the breath comes out, the sound of ‘Hum’ is made and when the breath goes in, the sound of ‘Sah (So)’ is made. On knowing the form of its transmission, all the three tenses - past, future and present become self-mastering.

  Lord Shiva emphasizes that the knowledge of self-realisation is more secret than the most secret knowledge. It benefits its knower in every way. This self rising knowledge is like a gem on the head of all knowledge, that is, it is more than a priceless gem for the wise.

Even though it is subtler than subtle, this knowledge is a means of understanding and truth, that is, it makes one understand the truth. This is astonishing to atheists and the basis of their faith for theists.

  Lord Shiva further says, a person whose nature has become calm, whose mind is pure, virtuous, devoted to his Guru, whose determination is firm, such a person with such pious conduct should be initiated into self-realization.

Swarodaya knowledge should never be given to a wicked, evil, grumpy, atheist, sensual, soulless and vicious person. This knowledge is already within each one of us, only is a question of self- realization knowing which person becomes OMNISCIENT.

The best knowledge of all the Vedas, Shastras, Music etc. is embedded in the voice. All the three states of our existence – conscious, subconscious and unconscious are united in the voice. (What else should I say?) The voice itself is the self-form.

An astrologer in the absence of knowledge of self-knowledge is like a house without a master, a mouth without knowledge of the scriptures, and a body without a head. That is, vocal knowledge is very important for an astrologer.

 

The person who knows the difference between Nadis, Prana and Tattvas and their combination with Sushumna, he is entitled to get liberation.

Hey Parvati, having the knowledge of sound, by the effect of auspicious sound, the wise tell what is auspicious, visible and invisible, that is, what is auspicious and what is inauspicious in the visible and invisible form.

This big and small universe and all the things in it are made of sound and sound itself is Maheshwar (Shiva) the destroyer of creation.

 

No secret knowledge greater than the knowledge of voice, no wealth greater than the knowledge of voice, and no other knowledge greater than the knowledge of voice has been seen nor heard.

 

  The enemy is defeated by the power of voice, a friend who is separated is found. Even the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, fame and happiness, everything is available.

 

With the knowledge of the voice one gets a wife, meets the ruler, achieves the success of the deities and the king also becomes submissive.

 

One should travel at the time of favorable tone, eat delicious food and excreta should also be done during favorable tone.

 

O Varanane, there is no knowledge or element greater than the vocal knowledge as told by all the scriptures, the Vedas, the Vedantas, the Puranas and the Smritis.
